The first three months after you launch decide whether your marketing becomes a habit or a guessing game. This plan breaks those 90 days into three blocks of 30, each one building on the last. It is written for new Indian SMEs with a small team and a careful budget: clinics, schools, coaching centres, local service businesses, real-estate firms and D2C brands.
The rule behind the whole plan is simple: do not pay to send people somewhere that cannot convert them. So you fix the foundations first, earn free visibility second, and only then spend on ads, with tracking switched on from day one.
Days 1–30: foundations
This month is about making your business easy to find, easy to trust and easy to contact. Nothing here needs an ad budget.
Week 1: get clear on who you serve
- Write one sentence describing your ideal customer: who they are, where they are, and the problem you solve for them.
- List the three questions customers ask most before they buy. These become your website copy, your FAQs and your first social posts.
- Pick one main action you want people to take: call, WhatsApp, book an appointment, fill a form or buy online. Every page and post should point to it.
Week 2: brand basics
- A clean logo, two or three brand colours and one or two fonts, used the same way everywhere.
- A short business description (about 50 words) and a longer one (about 150 words) you can reuse on your website, Google and social profiles.
- Good photos of your team, premises or products. Real photos build more trust than stock images.
Week 3: a website that converts
- Mobile first: most local customers will see your site on a phone.
- A clear headline that says what you do and where, plus your main call to action above the fold.
- WhatsApp, phone and email options on every page, plus a short enquiry form.
- Pages for each core service, an About page, a Contact page with your address and map, and answers to the questions you listed in week 1.
- Basic on-page SEO: a unique title and description for each page, and your city in the right places.
Before you go live, run through our website launch checklist.
Week 4: Google Business Profile and tracking
- Claim and verify your Google Business Profile, choose the right categories, add hours, photos, services and your website link. Our Google Business Profile guide walks through every step.
- Set up Google Analytics 4 and Search Console.
- Track the actions that matter: form submissions, WhatsApp clicks, phone clicks and email clicks. Without this you cannot tell later which marketing works.
- Make sure your name, address and phone number are written exactly the same on your website, Google and social profiles.
End of month 1: a credible website, a verified Google Business Profile, consistent brand assets and tracking that records every enquiry.
Days 31–60: consistent content and local search
Now you build visibility and trust with content you can keep up. Consistency matters far more than volume: a realistic weekly rhythm you can sustain beats a burst of posts that stops after two weeks.
Plan a simple content calendar
- Choose one or two social platforms where your customers actually spend time. For most local businesses that means Instagram and Facebook; for B2B firms, LinkedIn.
- Rotate a few content types: answers to common questions, behind the scenes, before-and-after or product showcases, customer stories (with permission), and offers.
- Plan short-form video (Reels) around the same themes. Simple, well-lit phone videos are enough to start.
- Batch-create a month of content at once, so posting does not depend on finding time every day.
Grow local search visibility
- Post updates and offers on your Google Business Profile regularly, and add fresh photos.
- Ask happy customers for Google reviews, and reply to every review, good or bad, politely and quickly.
- Add one or two useful articles or FAQ answers to your website each month, targeting the questions people search for in your area.
- List your business in relevant local and industry directories with the same name, address and phone number.
Follow up every enquiry
Decide who replies to WhatsApp messages, calls and form enquiries, and how fast. Keep a simple sheet of every enquiry: where it came from, what they asked, and whether it turned into a customer. This record is what you will use to judge paid campaigns next month.
End of month 2: a steady posting rhythm, an active Google Business Profile with growing reviews, and a simple record of where enquiries come from.
Days 61–90: first paid campaigns and reporting
With foundations and tracking in place, paid ads can now be measured instead of guessed. Start small, learn fast, and scale only what produces enquiries.
Choose the right channel
- Google Ads (Search) suits businesses people actively look for: clinics, coaching, repairs, real estate, local services. You reach people at the moment they search.
- Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram) suits businesses that sell through visuals or need awareness first: D2C products, restaurants, salons, events, new launches.
- Start with one channel and one clear offer, rather than spreading a small budget thinly.
Set up campaigns to learn
- Send ads to a dedicated landing page with one message and one call to action, not to your homepage.
- Target a sensible radius around your location and the audience you defined in month 1.
- Set a fixed test budget you can sustain for at least four to six weeks; campaigns need time and data before you judge them.
- Make sure conversion tracking records form, WhatsApp and call enquiries from the ads.
Report on what matters
At the end of the 90 days, review a short monthly report rather than a long list of numbers:
- Enquiries by source: Google search, Google Business Profile, social media, ads, referrals.
- Cost per enquiry for each paid campaign.
- How many enquiries became customers, and roughly what they were worth.
- What to keep, what to stop and what to test next month.
End of month 3: your first measured campaign, a clear view of which channels bring enquiries, and a plan for month 4 based on evidence.
How Tresundios can help
You can follow this plan on your own. If you would rather have it done for you, our packages map closely to it: the Launch Package covers the month-1 foundations, and the Lead Growth Package covers landing pages, Google or Meta campaigns, tracking and monthly reporting.
